Glen Shelton is just as comfortable in the pulpit as he is in a stadium, or at a fair or festival. While his extensive career as a Country artist has provided many opportunities for him to perform with several Country superstars, his heart remains tied, unwaveringly, to his faith. Whenever possible, Glen enjoys sharing his love for Jesus Christ in churches, both as a singing artist and a preacher. Glen seeks to motivate followers of Christ (from all Christian denominations) to celebrate the love and peace found only through Jesus Christ. His mission is to spread the Gospel, encourage commitment to Christ, and strengthen unity in the church. Even though Glen has been singing professionally for more than 15 years, he didn't really appreciate fully the gift of singing until October 1998, when he lost the ability to sing because of a polyp that had developed on one of his vocal cords. Unable to successfully sing even one line of a song, he was no longer able to perform in concerts wtih national recording artists, and his career seemingly came to an abrupt end.

Surgery was eventually performed, and the Lord completely restored his voice. Miraculously, it is now better than ever!

Glen made a commitment to God that if He chose to restore his voice, he would use it for His glory for the rest of his life. Therefore, Glen wants to be an instrument of God, and bring this testimony and the Gospel songs he sings to your church. Glen has also been working in a youth ministry for the past seven years, has preached one to two times a month for the past four years, and has sung in numerous church/worship services.
